proceedingcoverIn 2011, MELCA-Ethiopia has organized three distinct workshops on the subject of Generic Seed Issues, Ecological Agriculture and Related Laws in Ethiopia for three supposedly influential stakeholders in the subject matter. These are parliamentarians, agricultural researchers and media people. The workshops were organized based on the recommendation forwarded on a seed workshop organized for other stakeholders in 2010. The sensitization workshops on Generic Seed Issues, Ecological Agriculture and Related Laws were organized for media people, parliamentarians and agricultural researchers on Sept. 2, 2011, Dec. 14, 2011 and Dec. 16-17, 2011 respectively.
